Another Social Mixer Success!

taps-bliss19 members and affiliated professionals gathered in Ann Arbor last evening at the renowned local establishment – The Ann Arbor Brewery – for an after-hours social and networking event.

With over 15 different hand crafted draft beers from local brew masters, along with great food, the event sponsored by Jay Fradenburg of Columbia Funds proved to be another successful social event for the FPA of Michigan’s Membership and Career Development Committee.

“I never knew this was such a fun group” was the observation from one of the attendees who is considering a career in financial planning. Many new relationships, exciting ideas, and best practices were shared among the many attendees during the 2 hour event. The event wrapped up with Columbia Funds awarding a $50 gift certificate from the Ann Arbor Brewery to one of the lucky attendees.

Next week, the same committee is hosting our Generation Next Roundtable Forum to discuss how to use client tax returns to grow your financial planning practice. Contact Mary Medonis of the FPA of Michigan for more information or to register for the May 21st event. You can also click here to register on-line for the event.
